a spark in the dark

Zoe Lauckner is a multi-instrumentalist, singer/songwriter, photographer, and aspiring writer born and raised in the beautiful Cowichan Valley. She grew up surrounded by all things musical and began piano lessons at a young age. With her passion growing quickly, she soon picked up a guitar and began writing her own songs. At sixteen years old she recorded her first EP at Raincoast Music Studio in Nanaimo, B.C, and was accepted into the Vancouver Island Univerisity Jazz Program. Having shared the stage with Canadian musicians Dan Mangan, Coco Love Alcorn, Daniel Wesley and Bob Wiseman, Zoe’s confidence on stage and in her music has grown and blossomed into something that any listener can enjoy.

She is going into her forth year of University studying music and creative writing and is always finding new ways of expressing her individuality through different art forms.
